Branching Out: Garden Rose Style Design How-To

We don’t often think of rustic and contemporary as compatible design styles, but here, floral designer Erik Witcraft, AIFD, creates a flower arrangement that has elements of both. Using coral-bark Japanese maple branches, he creates a woodland armature incorporating Alexandra Farms’ frothy peachy-pink Miyabi garden roses in a contemporary manner. The resulting composition is not only natural and woodsy, but also elegant and contemporary.
