Inspiration from a Palm Springs Wedding

After a year of postponements because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Jen and Keith married on May 15, 2021, in Palm Springs, California. We’re over the moon to be share a look into their stunning wedding day, which was beautifully captured on camera by the incredible talents of Rebecca Yale. Every image is filled with exquisite details that deserve to be devoured, including over 3,000 David Austin Wedding Roses grown at Alexandra Farms. Keep scrolling to be utterly inspired...

A dream team of star collaborators including Joy Proctor Design and Katy Haley of Bridal Bliss ensured the couple had an exquisite wedding that they had long envisaged. The talented floral wizardry of Alicia Rico of Bows + Arrows Flowers, gracefully weaved David Austin Wedding Roses across every detail of their wedding day. Alicia embraced an effortlessly elegant color palette of warm butter yellow, dusty blue hues and sage green tones.

The couple hosted their celebration at the Hideaway Country Club, a setting that was incredibly close to their hearts and somewhere they had spent many happy memories – including the moment they got engaged! The location boasts over 600 acres, with unparalleled views across mountain vistas and desert, promising a truly breath-taking backdrop.

After reducing their guest count from over 150 to just under 50 in line with the current COVID-19 restrictions, Jen and Keith had an intimate celebration without compromising on style or substance. Their videographer, Caleb Jordan Lee, of East West Production also live-streamed the ceremony so that those who couldn’t join in person still had the opportunity to enjoy it and savor all the decadent details.

The bride-to-be wore a stunning Lela Rose gown paired with pearl Monique Lhuillier shoes, beautifully complemented by her oversized pearl Cult Gaia clutch bag and pearl ring box from Voeu du Coeur. Jen was breath-taking – a classic bridal look of pure elegance, which was then finished with a jaw-droppingly beautiful wedding bouquet by Alicia, which incorporated the sumptuous blooms of Beatrice, Effie, Purity and Juliet. Jen’s exquisite bridesmaids in blue and yellow mismatched gowns, styled by Gabrielle Hurtwitz, were ready to accompany the bride-to-be down the aisle. It was time for the ‘I dos’ to begin!

The creative team worked their magic to transform the outdoor space, constructing a striking draped ceremony structure that was adorned with David Austin Wedding Roses, as well as hanging floral installations and tall grand urns overflowing with soft yellow, peach and pink David Austin Wedding Roses. The ivory blooms of Patience, Purity and Leonora were included in the selection to compliment the soft pink and more citrusy tones, of Keira, Constance, Beatrice and Effie, creating lovely soft floral layers.

Guests were greeted with the cutest Prosecco and Craft Beer van (which was also embellished with beautiful David Austin Wedding Roses for a floral touch), while musicians played a trumpet and saxophone in the background. Pillow-soft peach and pale pink florals that looked as if they were elegantly growing from the ground surrounded the guests’ chairs, while the draped curtains were lined with leafy foliage and pinned with a delicate corsage of roses and blooms. The feminine and romantic fragrance of our roses was lightly carried in the air, indulging guests in a sweet scent that was almost edible. The couple exchanged their personalized vows overlooking the first hole against the backdrop of azure water, palm trees and Palm Desert mountains. It really was a ceremony to remember!

For the cocktail hour and reception, floral table centerpieces were teamed with vintage brushed gold charger plates and cutlery to curate the most enchanting place settings for guests to wine and dine at.

After friends and family were suitably full after their feast, they were invited to relax and unwind on lounge vignettes which were set up on the patio under twinkling fairy lights. Voluptuous roses surrounding the outdoor space helped to tie in the yellow, blue and green color palette, immersing the guests in floral delight after delight. Following the first dance, Jen and Keith spent the night dancing with their loved ones, finally able to celebrate their love story together.

Wishing Jen and Keith much health, happiness and love for their future life together. May it always be filled with joy, laughter and of course, roses!
